REG’s April meeting, on the 23rd, is a talk from fellow member Mike Pepler on Climate Change. Mike has a background in engineering but switched his focus to sustainability and renewables a few years ago and now works for the charity Ashden. Ashden’s mission is to accelerate the transformation of energy systems so that everyone has access to sustainable energy. Mike is passionate about climate change and the need for action to be taken now. Expect to learn and be challenged.
The meeting will start at the usual time of 7pm and will be in the Benson Room at The George, High Street, Rye.
Free to members. £3 on the door for non-members.
Hi, Would Rother Environmental Group like to join the South East Climate Alliance? We see you are petitioning Rother DC – we are campaigning over Sussex and Surrey for all councils to declare a Climate Emergency. Maybe we can help give support/back up?

Thank you for getting in touch. A good idea to work together. We will discuss with the committee and get back to you.
