Invitation to “Energy we can all afford” Public meeting

Energy We Can All Afford?

Public Meeting with local MP and Energy and Climate Change Minister, Greg Barker; and Drop-in Energy Cafe.

The Meeting and Drop-in Energy Cafe take place on: 

Saturday March 9th at Centre Stage (formerly the Salvation Army Hall) 87 London Road, Bexhill TN39 3LD

  • 9.30 to 10.30 a.m. local organisations will be quizzing the policy experts and networking
  • 10.30 – 11.30 a.m. – public debate with Greg Barker MP; Donna Hume (Energy Campaigner Friends of the Earth); Richard Watson (Director Energy Advice Centre Bexhill)
  • Midday – 5 pm – a drop in energy cafe for local people to get advice on how to stay healthy, warm and debt free

This is one of a series of meetings supported by the Energy Bill Revolution that are taking place all over the country, and presents a chance for all of us that care about energy security, fuel poverty and a brighter future to come together.

There is also an opportunity for organisations to have a small free display space at this event so please do let me know if you would like to take up this opportunity, or if you would like space to be part of the Drop-in Energy Cafe.
